Does StarWind work on Win 2008 Core installation (x64)?

Ok then - I have installed the iSCSI service only (3.5.1). Is it possible to use the GUI to connect from another server, right? I'm having no luck with that. Beside adjusting the Windows Firewall, are there other things that need to be changed?

And how about adding the license file?

Sure.

No luck does not sound like a valid report. What's failing? What's told to you? Where's StarWind service log file?

Try reading help. It has complete reference on how to apply license file.

Truns out to be the Windows Firewall. Turn off domain profile and connect with no issue. License loaded with no issue.

I forgot about port 3261... Modified Firewall rule and all is good.

Besides inbound ports are 3260 & 3261 , there's nothing else right?

One for iSCSI traffic and one for StarWind control protocol. If you did not apply any changes to the configuration - no other ones should be "opened" for flawless operation.
