I am still experiencing the initial issue described with StarWind hard crashing without any errors after you finish inputting the VM information. I am on the latest build (626) which from what I've read the issue should already have been resolved.. Any confirmation on if this is still a known issue?

Hi,

Yes, it is a known issue.

I'm also experiencing this same issue. Considering it's considered a feature to connect to Proxmox, does anyone know if this much needed feature will be fixed anytime soon?

It is going to be fixed in the future builds.

I have become quite frustrated due to some similar problems. Not only does the Converter want to provision the entire size of the drive (even when I select specific volumes only), but when I attempt to create a new VM, it tries to create that VM 10 times in a row and then cancels the conversion because, obviously, it created the VM on its first attempt and can't create a VM with the same ID. Further, if I attempt to simply migrate the disk instead of the whole machine, it won't allow me to select the VM I've created (see where the logs say "error select VM").

Full log of multiple different attempts here: https://pastebin.com/HBpC55xA

I've been very happy with this software in the past, when it comes to converting physical machines to Hyper-V and VMware to Hyper-V, but when it comes to migrating things to Proxmox, I have to say it simply seems not fit for purpose.

Welcome to StarWind Forum. What version of Proxmox are you converting to?

I tried also to replace the libssh2.dll to an never one.

I installed the 9.0.1.268 but there is no Proxmox destination.

I disabled Antivirus Monitor and the Firewall.

Made many restarts and re-installations.
