Hello.
Long time user of the windows version of StarWind Vsan. I am testing the HCI appliance with a "Free" license. I understand the webgui, and starwind mangement application on windows server is not supported under free. I have a Windows server 2025 which i installed the storage management feature set on. I am following this guide https://www.enterprisestorageforum.com/ ... standards/

and when i get down to Register-SmisProvider –ConnectionUri https://192.168.1.222:5989 i get connection timed out. I tried both port 5988 and 5989 and both time out. Is the SMI-S agent supported on the appliance? Do i need to enable something so i can manage the appliance via windows server ? Are there any third party GUI utilities to add/remove/modify iscsi luns since the starwind free features are limited?

StarWind VSAN Free is approached using PowerShell.
The WEB and Windows-based console is available only for monitoring.

That does not answer my question. Is SMI-S supported for the appliance or not? Your website says it is supported....
