I tried adding/creating an imagefile to an existing target but cannot seem to get it via PowerShell. Is this not supported in the free version?

Hi,

Sadly no, but you can make the StarWind.cfg see it.
Try creating a target and device with the script, and just edit the StarWind.cfg accordingly (you will need to stop the StarWindService (Windows) or starwind-virtual-san (Linux)).

Not ideal but it worked. Thanks for the input.

It's possible that this feature is limited in the free version. Some advanced functions like managing image files via PowerShell may require a licensed edition. You might want to check the documentation or version comparison to confirm.

No. GUI offers a more convenient way of doing it.

Really? I haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure about this issue. I see people's feedback like that. Thanks for sharing.

You can do everything on your own by altering config files.
GUI offers a safe and convenient way of doing that.
