I have 2 4U servers with 36 drive bays each. I am setting up a RAID10 SATA arrays. I have installed Hyper-V and would like to use vSAN for the local disk in a cluster using both servers. Is the Starwind vSAN for me?

Thank you for the link.. I am going to try and manage with the free version and understand I will have limited functionality in the Management Console and will have to manage targets via powershell. I would prefer to use the console - but I don't think I can get budget approval

PowesShell should be fine for most use cases. Yet, nothing prevents you from contacting our Sales to get an offer from them and decide whether it fits your budget.

I now have a 30 day trial license while I test.
My environment is 2 4U servers with large capacity local disk. I have a quad hyperconverged Network card for the vSwitch, plus a dual NIC. One for connection to the host OS, and one as a heartbeat. I have the heartbeat configured with a server to server connection to 10.10.10.1 and 10.10.10.2. The reference to a Synchronization link I dont know about. If these hosts are on the same switch with a local address, can synchronization be done there? I only have the quad vswitch card and a dual NIC card available

additional to last post.
I have now tried using a server to server direct connection 10.10.10.1 and 10.10.10.2 as the synchronization link.. and put the heartbeat on the NIC that I use to connect to the host that goes through a common switch as the heartbeat. Seemed to let me go to the next step. Is this the wrong method?
Also.. on the 30-day trial license, can I call Starwind for support?
