What is root password for VSA underlying linux?

I need to get into Centos to be able to set the management IP, and also adjust the GUI so it's a better resolution.

I see great lengths have been gone to to try to prevent people accessing root... ...which I fully understand for an appliance.

So how the hell do you set the management IP (and don't say DHCP, because this is supposed to be a hyperconverged solution)? Additionally, as provided, the GUI is unusable as the OVF deployment ensures its running at too low a resolution to see the whole screen.

This doesn't inspire much confidence in the product or the company behind it I'm afraid.

And without root you can't set up DNS, unless I have completely missed something in the GUI... ...which keeps crashing anyway, needing the VM to be restarted.

Thank you for your feedback. We are working on improvements in VSA v.2.
You can configure the Management and other networks by connecting to the local server.
Then, click the Configuration tab and VSA Network Settings. You will see the list of network interfaces which can be configured with static ip addresses.
