I have downloaded the CentOS image with the webconsole installed on it.
I open my browser and go to the address it gets from DHCP and it says, "Connecting to server. Waiting for a response..."
Then, shortly after that, I get this message "The remote desktop server encountered an error and has closed the connection. Please try again or contact your system administrator"

And it just loops.

Any help would be appreciated.
Hope this helps.

Hello tig_jeff,
Thanks for interesting in StarWind solution
Did you configure "user account for Web-access for Management console" or specify StarWind host IP address?
Please make sure you installed Thin client according to this guide: https://www.starwindsoftware.com/starwi ... tion-guide

I have gone through that setup, but I need the VM to be an a different subnet for management.
How can I assign a static IP address to this system?

i.e., what is the login on the console?
Hope this helps.

Hello tig_jeff,
I have checked your question and, unfortunately, the WebConsole should use the same management subnet which is used by StarWind hosts.
I have forwarded this question to R&D and hope it will be available in next WebConsole releases.
Thank you
