Starwind VSAN Free - each VSAN sees only itself in GUI - 3 host HA cluster

Hi,
I have small Proxmox PVE 9 cluster, and each server has Starwind VSAN 1.6.580.7361.
The problem is, that GUI of each VSAN server show LUN - HA state:online, but when I get into the Lun -> HA it shows HA status Disabled (2 replication partners are not synchronized), and under replication partners only the actual vSAN that I'm logged on shows the Online and Synchronized status, the res one are "offline" and sync status is "unknown".

Network wise - everything is OK, because all appliances see their nic's up and running. I can ping all the hosts both from proxmox and each vSAN VM. And each PVE host see all the iscsi sessions from all vSANs

Code: Select all

iscsiadm -m session
tcp: [1] 172.20.5.103:3260,1 iqn.2008-08.com.starwindsoftware:172.20.5.103-vsan-iscsi (non-flash)
tcp: [2] 172.20.5.102:3260,1 iqn.2008-08.com.starwindsoftware:172.20.5.102-vsan-iscsi (non-flash)
tcp: [3] 172.20.5.101:3260,1 iqn.2008-08.com.starwindsoftware:172.20.5.101-vsan-iscsi (non-flash)
I don't see any task errors / error logs on each starwind vsan appliance (in gui). Any clue what went wrong here?

Ok, verified the internal logs on vsan appliance, and everything seems to be fine.
Also found a fix on forums: viewtopic.php?t=7424 - to remove appliance entries from Starwind console -> appliances, and add them again.

I see, that some update is available on each vSAN appliance:
Installed version:1.6.580.7361
Update status: 1.7.816.7724
Is it only a matter of clicking the update button, or do I have to do something more (to not break up the vSAN HA cluster)?

Hi,

Just hit update (regular restart precautions apply). You can also try
-check time
-remove the nodes from appliances and add them.
-make sure all CVMs have the same version.
