Hi ,
i have gone through link which you have mentioned that we should use old version tool if its yes please mention the link to download
should i follow this procedure which i want to migrate windows VM
Log into the VM
1. $ vi /etc/default/grub
1.1. Change the line
GRUB_DEFAULT=1
Save and exit.

2. $ grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
3. $ shutdown -h now

Note: 1) In my scenario live migration of windows vm from esxi to hyper v successfully completed converting i am attaching screenschot
2) I did not uninstall VMware tool

There is a link in that thread.
First of all, please try removing the VMware tools. This is might be what is clashing with conversion.

The issue seems to be related to the residual drivers from the source environment as the converter ran without errors.
Please try removing the VMware tools. This might be what is clashing with conversion.
Please also try booting the VM with the IDE controller attached.

Hi,
Okay I will remove vmware tool and VM is gen2 so it can't run on IDE controller.
I have one question that EXSI server and hyper v server both are from different family. Because of this VM is not booting??

Hi,

Try converting individual disks and resemble the VM afterward as Gen1.

Hi,

Yes, it is possible.
Again, the issue is caused by the interaction of the VM world with the destination.
Try removing the VMware tools.
As the last resort, try converting the VM to the template and importing it in place.
