While performing a Spectrum Protect dbs backup to VTL we get the following error:

Welcome to StarWind Forum.
Please check you have tapes available and enough space. The logs you share are not from VTL.
The connection has been established, and the software does see the virtual, so the issue does not seem to be related to the tape (it's there).

You are correct

we created 12GB VTL Tapes instead of 12TB VTL Tapes.
