Hi all. I was just wondering if anyone was successful using starwind vtl to Wasabi with Veeam.? I know there is a free version of vtl but what does the commercial version cost? And does the free version work with Wasabi.?
Any downsides to using a vtl with Veeam such as synthetic fulls and such?
I would use the aws gateway but I do not like the idea of the backups going to glacier. Any way to stop that from happening using the aws gateway?
Thanks

VTL is archive rather then backup solution, one of the reasons is exactly the one you've ment'd - always fulls. So you use some on-site storage + offload periodic fulls to Wasabi/B2/AWS/etc.
