Allowed names list

Greetings,

I've just installed and configured Starwind v8 with the access rights All Connections, all targets, and all Interfaces allowed. When I try to connect to the target, I'm getting "Authentication failed" "<iqn>...not found in allowed names list". I've searched for such a list in the console but I'm not finding anything. Can someone shed some light?

Hello Chris,
I am sorry for the delay in our response.
Could you please provide more information about iSCSI Initiator?
I suppose you need to discover the targets first and then connect to them.

I've since spoken with a support rep. I realized I was using the wrong name in the initiator field on my ESXi config.
