Any chance that at least the Native SAN will be using this soon? Just a curiosity, but it does look "easy" (yes I have developed software before lol) to implement on a per connection basis. I only see this benefiting the NativeSAN for Hyper-V as that is the only place I connect to localhost regularly, but It looks like it could make a huge difference.

It does already. So you'll get a chance to play with this settting in upcoming beta.
It's not easy as we don't control MS iSCSI initiator and it has no optimizations like this. So VERY different approach should be selected.
