I've been trying to extend an image using the Starwind Management Console, but when I do, it fails with a popup claiming "There is not enough space on the disk." I've got almost 4 TB free on the drive where the image file is sitting, and I get the error even if I only try adding the default 100 MB.

It doesn't seem to make a difference whether there are iSCSI sessions open, or how the image is partitioned, or even whether the image is partitioned. I even tried just creating a new image and then expanding it without ever connecting anything to the target.

Management console version is 5.6.1667.

edit: I should add that this is a basic virtual image, no snapshots or other advanced support.

Has anyone seen this problem before? Any suggestions on how to fix it?

Thanks!

I will ask you to update your software to the current version (version 6) and to try to do it again.
Thank you
