Is StarWind Software Update capable of delivering cutting-edge features and advancements in the field of virtual storage and hyper-converged infrastructure, or is it merely a cosmetic upgrade with minimal impact on performance and functionality?
It all depends you which build you are updating from. There are a lot of stability fixes and features in VSAN recently.
Speaking of CVM vs VSAN for vSphere, it is quite an update.
The issue is the TLS version. vCenter 8 is defaulting to tls1.3 to start which is fine, however the VASA doesn't allow cipher re-negotioation so it just gets dropped. vCenter 8 currently doesnt support changing the supported/enabled TLS versions so still looking into it on my end.
