Has anyone tested the StarWind product using a MAC?
I downloaded and installed globalSAN initiator for OS X Tiger. When I put in the portal address of the StarWind Target, I did not get a list of possible target volumes to use.. In the StarWind log it appears as if the two do not communicate properly on log in.
There is no authentication system turned on.
The StarWind works fine in our lab with the Microsoft Initiator.
Anyone have any feedback for cross platform use on Mac???

What's up? Are there any updates on this topic?
I've noticed the utility doesn't work for Mac OS storage platform as smoothly as for Windows.

There are no plans for iSCSI initiator for MacOS X due to the fact iSCSI (SAN) is a server-side technology and Apple is focused on desktop & workstation markets.
