Hi

I am trying to convert an Azure VM to VMWare VM. When I enter the tenant id, client id, client secret and click Get Subscriptions, nothing happens.
No errors, nothing.

What am I missing?

Cheers,
Marcelo

You need to subscribe an application [credentials of which you use] in MS Azure. We are working on a KB article on this matter. Here is the quick guide on how to subscribe the application in MS Azure:
1. Press Home in the dropdown menu on the left.

2. In the GENERAL area, select Subscriptions. Alternatively, type Subscriptions in the search box at the top of the page.

3. Press Access control (IAM) and click Add in the window which emerges right.

4. Select Add role assignment.

5. Set the role to Contributor under Add role assignment. Type the application name in the Select field, select the application, and press Save.

I am getting an error when doing the actual conversion. See atttached.
Any ideas?

Hello Marcelo,

The VM might be running. Please, power off the VM and try converting again.
Before converting a virtual machine or an image file, check whether the following prerequisites are met
Network adapters are enabled on system boot
Network adapters have IP addresses assigned over DHCP
RDP or SSH are enabled
Firewall is set to allow for remote connections over RDP or SSH
The VM that is to be converted is powered off
Retrieved from: https://www.starwindsoftware.com/v2v-help/Cloud.html
Please, provide us with the logs if you are not able to convert a VM after powering it off.
