Hi people,
In the past i made a Starwind iscsi SAN for my home lab, 2x1tb disk with a 100gb SSD ofload on that volume. and i could make that during a 30 day trial with the GUI

I want to upgrade now, a new san, but no more GUI.

How would i make a volume like that now?

I guess what you meant by a 100 GB SSD offload was L2 caching.
If so, you would need to perform the following steps:
1. Create an HA disk or required size with "Create HA(two nodes).ps1"
2. On one of the nodes, create a standalone disk of 100GB and do not attach it to target. Use CreateImageFile.ps1, but be sure to comment out the target creation part.
3. Edit the device config file as described in https://knowledgebase.starwindsoftware. ... dance/661/
Do the same for the partner node, too.
P.S. To edit config files, stop the StarWind VSAN service.
