Hi,

I've a 3-node cluster using StarWind Virtual SAN FREE, so I'm using the Management Console in read-only mode, and I use PowerShell to actually manage Virtual SAN.

Today one of the HDDs crashed. The HADevice is still working, but there is an error message "Partner 'iqn.xxxxxxx' is not synchronized " in the "healthy" servers, and "Device is not synchronized" in the server with the failed HDD.

I have made a copy of the CSV4.swdks and CSV4_HA.swdsk files.

I've already ordered a new HDD to replaced the crashed one. What are the steps to follow in order to replace the hard drive? I cannot shutdown the whole cluster as there are several VM running. Here is what I'm going to do:

- Pause Hyper-V node 3, so all running nodes will be automatically live migrated to another node.
- Shutdown Node.
- Replace HDD.
- Copy CSV4.swdks and CSV4_HA.swdsk.

Should I remove the device from StarWind first?
Should I recreate the CSV4.img file? How?
As new CSV4.img will be completely empty, how will StarWind know what to sync?

There are no PowerShell samples on how to proceed.

Thanks,

Enric
