Hi all,
Anyone know if the embedded version of Starwind in the RX4100 appliance can be configured to use caching? It is not an option from the iSCSI dashboard provided, but I assume it is something that can be modified per target in the configuration files. Anyone have experience with this? Or would removing the embedded version and installing the free edition be preferable?
TIA.

WD runs an OEM stripped down version of StarWind so AFAIK cache is simply disabled there. You can install any new (even free) version of StarWind there and it will allow you to do whatever you want.
