Hi
I converted VMWare VM with Windows 7 OS (one disk 20 GB, full Windows update) to Hyper-V VM. So i used V2V converter. On Hyper-V cluster I created VM with the same settings as VMWare VM.
I attached converted disk and.... nothing... bluse screen. System cannot load.

VMWare virtual machine was version 8, virtual disk was attached to SCSI (0:0). I tried to use Microsoft Virtual Machine converter... the same situation.

What is going on? V2V converter cannot converts disk attached using SCSI to IDE (hyper-V VM generation 1 for Windows 7)?

Hello Yukio Seki,

Thank you for your post.

Did you try to check box "Activate Windows Repair Mode" during the conversion?
