Issues converting a VHD file

Hello,

After converting a large VHD file (100+ GB), it doesn't work. When I boot the converted VM, it just shows a black screen with the letter "J". As shown in the attached image.

Anyone know why this is occurring and what can be done to resolve it?

Looks really weird, to be honest. I haven`t seen this before.
So, just to doublecheck, you've been converting the VHD, not VHDX, into VMDK, correct?

Hello

I`ve tried to convert my VHD files into VMDK, and it works.
Can you clarify what VM can`t start, original or converted with V2V and type of the OS?
Basically it is software that allows the conversion of VMs from format to another, basically “cloning” them and keeping the original file intact.
So any chance of data corruption or loss is eliminated.
