Beta of V8 is planned for the end of January or February.
If you are registered for beta-testing program, you'll receive the letter about new version when beta testing for v8 starts.

We have it actually. But current performance results are disgusting to say at least so we're not going to leak it to public w/o at least basic homework applied.

Be prepared for a week or so...

Yup - ETA moved to the end of May or the beginning of June :)
We are working hard to give our users a really good product, and this is not the most simple task, I hope we are on the same page on this.

It looks like the L2-cache is always created in the storage-pool location, and not in the location selected in the wizard.
