I have a VHD file with a snapshot and I need to convert the snapshot image (including the consolidation of the base HD image) to a VMDK file. The converter interface does not allow me to pick the .AVHD file which is my snapshot.

How do I convert this VHD and the AVHD snapshot to a single VMDK for VMWare?

Our converter with VHD - it can be converted to VMDK.

Yes, but how do I select the AVHD file to convert it? I can only see the VHD file in the list in the Converter file selection list.

I think the only way is to mount the snapshot, so all the data will be on vhd, and then you can go ahead and convert it.

Just doublechecking - are you taking full snapshots or incremental?

I`m pretty sure that you need full snapshot.
