Guys, I have tried and tried different things to get this working.

This check box is currently greyed out on W2K8, W2K3 and Win7 for an iSCSI mirror device (both devices remote)

There seems to be no workaround to get the devices, whether simple/dynamic, to auto-mount on system startup or even get that check box working.

Is anyone experiencing the same? I have seen people state in other threads that this checkbox is functional and working, please help!

Hello Phan7,

do you mean that you see automaunt checkbox greyed out when you are already connected to the target and you viewing Preferences window or do you see it in the wizard?

Hi Anatoly, yes it's after I have added the mirror using your iSCSI initiator, when viewing preferences for the item it's greyed out.

Also, I have checked application prefs, on the mirror tab, automount is checked and the control is enabled. But it does not automount.

Cheers

Funny but we don't even remember why we've disabled it...

Anton, this has worked wonders thankyou for taking this on board.

I created 2 x 10GB on my test box and wiped, added some data, rebooted... Mirrors reconnected.

Gave it a good thrashing afterwards and alls well :)
