List of changes since last (3.2.1) release:

1) A new DiskBridge plug-in added.

With this plug-in you can export whole hard drives as iSCSI targets like SPTI does but with complete emulation of SCSI-3 commands. So any hard drive ATA/USB/SCSI/RAID can now work with MSCS, Vmware ESX, etc. How broken RAID and SCSI controllers would not spoil your life :)

2) Fixed problems with some SATA/RAID controllers in ImageFile and DiskBridge plug-ins.

Some of the guys report they need byte alignment for data transfers when they really need word or even double word. Workarounded in the software to make you happy :)

3) Creation of file images has been optimized.

Now huge volumes would be created MUCH faster compared with the old release.

4) On-line help updated.

Enjoy!

Hi anton,
I've noticed that the newest version of starwind win64 is 3.2.1 but for win32, it's 3.2.2. If I use starwind x64 3.2.1 to connect to the service (x64 3.2.1) and try to add a device, the wizard didnt show the RAID/Diskbridge plugin. But if I use x32 3.2.2, it do.
So what's the difference ?

Thanks

If you're planning to use DiskBridge module you definitely need 3.2.2 as old versions don't have it at all.

Version 3.2.2 is available as 32-bit and 64-bit. Just grab new one from our site.

I'm closin this topic and you're welcomed to create new threads with your questions :)

Thanks!
