cannot complete format

I'm evaluating the trial version of StarWind downloaded three days ago and Microsoft ISCSI initiator 2.03 on Windows 2003 Enterprise.
I have successfully configured the StartWind target and have connected to it.
I can see device in device manager and volume in disk management.
But every format request hungs up and shows timeout message.
After that error every subsequent format attempt shows "previous operation did not complete" message.
What can be source of that problem?

1) What's the speed of your connection? Gb or 100 Mb?
2) Do you use pre-alllocated volume or sparse image file (unallocated until first write)?

Please forget about that request. I have found solution.
Seems it was incompatibility of Microsoft ISCSI initiator and
Adaptec Storage Manager's VDS provider installed by hosting provider.
