Hello,

I'm curious if there's an x64 version of StarWind I can try.

I'm interested in the RamDisk functionality and have a machine with 32GB of RAM that I'd like to test on.

Thanks!

Your website says:
"Native 32-bit and 64-bit binaries for x86 and x64 machines. Unlike some iSCSI target vendors we don't force our customers to use 32-bit binaries on x64 machines (AMD64 and EMT64) in WOW (Windows on Windows) emulation mode."

I'm installing Starwind on an Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 system, but the setup program appears to be only for the x86 binaries.

The starwind.exe setup file I have (from the URL you noted) says:

"This will install StarWind iSCSI Server v3.2.2 (build 20070328, Win32) on you computer." and the program is installed into "C:\Program Files (x86)\Rocket Division Software\StarWind".

I understand the management GUI may be 32-bit, but Task Manager shows me that the service (StarWindService.exe) is "StarWindService.exe *32" - which leads me to believe that the service is also only 32-bit.

This post:

suggests that the service should be 64-bit. Is there a separate download for the x64 binary with a 64-bit service?

I need the x64 version, please.

Thanks!

After filling download form you should receive notification e-mail with BOTH 32-bit and 64-bit StarWind download URLs. Obviously you did install 32-bit version on the top of the 64-bit OS. Just re-submit your query or find original download robot reply. Thanks!
