Hello

I can only extend the size of a image file disk with your tool mksparse.exe
if the disk is not used (not shared by starwind) at the moment.
This is a bad behavior because in some scenarios
I can not easily switch of the service when many servers depend on the SAN..

Will you please support the extension of image disk files at runtime?
Can you also make this feature available in the GUI ?

Is it also possible to support the change of device properties at runtime via the GUI?
Like switching the asynchronous mode on or off..

Hi Markus,

The recent StarWind 3.1 does not support extending or changing of device parameters without restarting the service or deleting/recreating of the device record.

Thank you for the great suggestions!
We'll implement them in the next major update of the software.
Best regards,
Valeriy
