I am in the process of specifying hardware for a new all-flash StarWind 3-node VSAN. They would be connected to two SN2700 switches. Would the following be a fully compatible/optimal platform?

SuperMicro 221H-TN24R
2 x Intel Xeon Gold 6442Y
16 x 32GB PC5-38400 4800MHz DDR5 ECC RDIMM (512GB)
2 x 800GB Micron 7450 MAX Series U.3 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe Solid State Drive (RAID 1, Boot Drive)
12 x 12.8TB Micron 7450 MAX Series U.3 PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe Solid State Drive (RAID 10, Data Drive)
Intel VROC Premium
2 x NVIDIA® ConnectX®-6 Dx EN 100-Gigabit Ethernet Adapter - PCIe 4.0 x16 - 2x QSFP56
Supermicro AIOM OCP 3.0 - 2x 10GbE RJ45 - Intel X550-AT2 - PCI-E 3.0 x4 - AOC-ATG-i2TM
Supermicro AOM-TPM-9670V - Trusted Platform Module - TPM 2.0 - X11 X12 - Not Provisioned - Vertical
Supermicro Update Manager (SUM) (OOB Management Package), included
Supermicro Server Manager (SSM) (DataCenter Management Package)

Thanks for any insights!

Hi,

Thanks for sharing. The spec looks ok, yet we don't approve specs for the software users.
VSAN is hardware agnostic (see the system requirements here https://www.starwindsoftware.com/system-requirements). Also, it is always better to use RAID controller and direct connections for DATA and SYNC.
