SW VSAN Free CVM Ps-script to ReSync

Good afternoon
After successfully creating 2 HA volumes (thanks to Yaroslav) I installed the Management console yesterday to follow the progress of the synchronization.
This morning everything was nicely synchronized.
I then carried on following the manual and could create the iSCSI connections in the MS iSCSI initiator.
I was also able to bring the disks online in Disk Manager.
But suddenly everything stopped and the only message I get in the Mgmgt console is 'Device is not synchronized' on all HAImages on both nodes:
HA down.png
HA down.png (72.28 KiB) Viewed 5827 times
No idea what caused this but I don't seem to find a way to start the synchronization again.
Is there a procedure to get the synchronization up and running again with powershell?
I searched the forums and found some hints from the past but the scripts mentioned there are no longer available in the current download folder.
Thanks for any clues!

Kind regards
Kurt

Hi Yaroslav

Do you mean I have to start all over again?
This is the same script to create the HA LUNs, it doesn't work when they already exist.
(I tried setting the $createImage and $createTarget to false but that doesn't make a difference.)
I'm confused.

I'm looking for some lines that tell Starwind to start syncing again.

Kind regards
Kurt

Tell me more about the systems. Do you have the CVM running on ESXi or Windows?
Could you please pull the logs from the systems? Also, do you have any data on the devices?

Hi Yaroslav

We're using 2 HPE DL380 Gen 9 with local storage (2 RAIDs of SSDs)
Starwind Free deployed as CVM on Hyper-V
I can't attach the log-files?
Currently there's no data, so if I need to start again that's possible (no harm done).
It sure would be useful to have a Powershell procedure to resync for once we're in production mode.
Once there's data on the disks, we would like to be able to use it ;-)

Greetings
Kurt

Hey, I have this idea.
Can you please try pinging all the adapters from one VM to another?

Hi Yaroslav
No problems there.
I'm going to have to close this call as I just got ordered to proceed without your High Availability option.
Nothing to do with the product, nothing to do with the great support team, just timing issues.

Maybe later!

Kind regards
Kurt
