VSAN Free CVM Lost license after Update to latest release

I upgraded one node in a 2-node VSAN Free CVM cluster using the WebUI a few hours ago to the latest release. After completing the update and logging back into the WebUI, I got a message saying the license expired (see attached) and it appears the CVM storage config has been reset.

Here is a screenshot of the license expiration message:

Here is a screenshot of the message I get when uploading the license file. I get this message when trying to use the existing license and a new license file I downloaded today.

I have not upgraded the second node and it is working fine.

Same problem here:
After rebooting my starwind vsan free appliances first time (version 1.6.558.7249) both appliances now show "license expired". - Is this a bug in the latest release !?
EDIT: It seems like perhaps only the web gui is acting strange !? - The solution itself seems to work totally fine, this is what i see in the starwind management console and in vmware vcenter. -So perhaps this is something which is only affecting the whole web gui, but not the starwind solution itself !?
EDIT 2: While migrating another vm to the starwind free vsan suddenly all esxi hosts lost connection to the starwind iscsi target and the starwind management console also now states "ha synchronization fail" - For the moment i will restore all my vms from my veeam backups to a non starwind datastore and wait on feedback in this thread.

Thanks for your post! Yes, these are the known issues of the build which is to be addressed in future builds.
EDIT 2: While migrating another vm to the starwind free vsan suddenly all esxi hosts lost connection to the starwind iscsi target and the starwind management console also now states "ha synchronization fail" - For the moment i will restore all my vms from my veeam backups to a non starwind datastore and wait on feedback in this thread.
Looks like there was a synchronization drop. Should not lead to the outage though. Please make sure the storage is connected from both nodes and the rescan script works well.

Yes, these are the known issues of the build which is to be addressed in future builds.
Can you estimate when the next build without this bug will be available? I would like to give Starwind another chance.

You can use the Windows-based console in the meantime if you have the trial or NFR key.
I do not have the ETA for the fix, but the next build might be in early October.

Re-applying the key to the buggy VSAN free installation does not work, will try to start the update in the web gui as described.

EDIT:
Applied the update to both appliances, which did work. :-) - Now the license error popup is gone, i now see both appliances back in the web gui, which was not the case before the update. - But there is still something going on with license, and i still cannot re-apply the license file.

Hi,

unfortunately i see no way to get any other license key installed. - There is no "upload" option, where i can add a new license.
If i click the "license" button only the things happen, you see in the screenshots above. - But no possibility to add a new key at all.

i just uploaded the logs to my onedrive and sent a mail to support AT startwindsoftware.com .
I hope you will find the cause why i experience this license error.
