Howdy,
I recently uninstalled 2.4 and installed 3.0. I re-created my 2 trusty image volumes to share out (using the already existing image files.) However, when I try to connect with my Qlogic 4010c, I get the following in the SW log file (see below.)
What'd I mess up or miss?
Thanks,
Doug

Hi,

The following line means your StarWind service has no valid license. So zero initiator connections are allowed.
"*LIMIT* iqn.2003-06.com.rocketdivision.starwind:fserv.saintmarys.edu.ramdisk.ramdrive0: all of 0 allowed sessions are opened."

StarWind 2.6/3.0 do not work without a license unlike the earlier versions (2.4.*).
Best regards,
Valeriy

Should I email support to get my license replaced? I was running 2.6, uninstalled it, installed 3.0 and added my license. I don't get the nag window when I start the product but I do get this error (seen above) in the logs. Weird...
Thanks,
Doug

p.s. From the "about" window, after I connect -
The following connections present:

Hi Doug,

Please contact our support about upgrading of your current license.
Inside a year after purchasing a license it's pissible to upgrade to the recent version free of charge.

FYI The recent StarWind version is 3.1. It's available to download from our web-site.
Best regards,
Valeriy
