I'm doing a proof-of-concept in my lab with Virtual SAN Free. I ran the sample PowerShell script, and it successfully created the image and established the HA relationship. I connected my hosts to the iSCSI targets, moved a VM to the storage (using Failover Cluster and CSV). I then stopped the StarWind Virtual SAN service to simulate a failover. Everything is working as expected at this point.
After restarting the service, however, the nodes are not syncing. On the server that took over, the warning message says, "Partner Node is not ready, see Replication Manager for more details.". However, I can't use Replication Manager as I'm on the free edition.
On the node where I restarted the service, the warning message says "Non-active.".
Additionally, under Health Status, I have the following messages:
synchronization channel is down
heartbeat channel is down
partner is not synchronized

I've tried a number of PowerShell commands to try to force a sync but nothing is working.
