did al the troubleshooting on the esxi side with no result.

Hi,
No worries it happens.
Check the HA devices to be synchronized at least on one node (i.e., full synchronization running). Do the storage rescan too.
Install the StarWind Management console here https://starwind.com/tmplink/starwind-v8.exe
Install it as MANAGEMENT CONSOLE + INTEGRATION COMPONENT LIBRARY (i.e., tick two checkboxes). That should be OK for monitoring. If you see both mirrors to be out of sync, check this out https://knowledgebase.starwindsoftware. ... -blackout/. You can run SyncHaDevice.ps1 from C:\Program Files\StarWind Software\StarWind\StarWindX\Samples\powershell to mark the side as synchronized.

Hope that helps!

Hello Yaroslav,

Thnx for the quick reply!
im running only a single node of the starwind appliance.
so sync is not a thing here and i dont know if the tools will help me as well for this appliance.
im using this appliance to create a software raid and connect it to vmware esxi (because vmware is not doing software raid).

the web console is not showing any errors as well.

i stand corrected, this tool is nice!
i think the problem is:

2/8 14:55:17.194373 9 Srv: *** iScsiServer::listenConnections: *LICENSE* Rejected iSCSI connection to 10.10.3.254:3260 from 10.10.3.2:44904.

and i have:
License: Free, 1 Node. (Perpetual)

and this log is new for me to:

2/8 14:50:55.458216 9 conf: ServerSetup::CheckPlatformRestrictions: License has a platform restrictions. Allowed platform is: 'Dedicated Physical Server'.
2/8 14:50:55.588780 9 conf: ServerSetup::CheckVariableRestrictions_Exception: *** THE HYPERVISOR HAS BEEN DETECTED. ***
2/8 14:50:55.588941 9 SwXmlLicence::HandleError: License has not been registered!
2/8 14:50:55.588954 9 *** SwXmlLicence::HandleError: Current license restricts to use hypervisor on the same platform.

is has been running on a hypervisor for a while now, new function in the last udpate?
