Hello.
I'm trying to test VVol in vMWare.
vCenter 6.7.0 build 16046713
Single node Starwind vSAN 8.0.0 build 15159 on Windows 2012 R2
I am using this manuals:
https://www.starwindsoftware.com/resour ... iew-guide/
https://forums.starwindsoftware.com/vie ... f=5&t=4537 (I took capabilityProfileUid from it)

The problem is that Storage Provider in vCenter becomes offline in minute after connecting.
Error in /var/log/vmware/vmware-sps/sps.log:

Code: Select all

[pool-10-thread-1] ERROR opId=sps-Main-648877-918 com.vmware.vim.sms.provider.vasa.alarm.AlarmDispatcher - Error: org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: Transport error: 403 Error: Forbidden occured as provider: https://192.168.6.91:9991/vasa is offline
Starwind service and cluster logs have no errors, except continuous messages every 30 seconds in ClusterService.log:

Code: Select all

notauth:: : StarWindServer.Connect
notauth:: : StarWindServer.Disconnect
There is also errors after adding provider, in attached file

As a workaround, can you set up an iSCSI target according to this guide starwindsoftware.com/resource-library/starwind-virtual-san-hyperconverged-2-node-scenario-with-vmware-vsphere-6-5/.
You can also set up a Linux-based appliance https://www.starwindsoftware.com/resour ... r-vsphere/.

There are a bunch of scripts in this forum.
