Hi,

I'm planning to upgrade our 2-node SW Cluster with SSDs and 10Gb. I've read some StarWinds publications was pretty happy that SW supports iSER (with capable NICs). For testing purposes I installed the latest release (trail) on a test system but during the configuration I've noticed that enableing iSER on NICs has STILL experimental stauts which wasn't mentioned in any of the publications (e.g. https://www.starwindsoftware.com/starwind-iser).

The latest release is over 1 year old so are there any updates about the status of this feature in the near future?

Regards

Don't do iSER as it didn't really take off... Newer version of StarWind we'll be releasing next couple of weeks would have NVMe-oF (both RDMA & TCP) which is a better option than iSER now. Stay tuned!

I'd suggest keeping an eye on the release notes (https://www.starwindsoftware.com/release-notes-build). It should be available mid Q2 2024.
