I’m currently in the process of planning to update our StarWind VSAN software from version 8.0.14033.0 to Version V8 (build 14398).
As this is my first time doing a version upgrade I would just like to clarify the procedure for “To prevent data loss, disconnect iSCSI clients from StarWind nodes”
We are running a 2-node Failover Hyper-V cluster on Windows Server 2019.
iSCSI Node 1 IP is 172.20.20.10 and iSCSI Node 2 IP is 172.20.20.20
I have moved all roles from our Failover Cluster to our second node and put that Hyper-V node in the Paused state

To disconnect iSCSI clients, is this procedure as simple as loading up the iSCSI Initiator and disconnecting all Discovered Targets?

Attached is another picture from the console of Node 1 LUN01

All HAImages are displaying Synchronized and Health Status is Green

Welcome to StarWind Forum.
As this is my first time doing a version upgrade I would just like to clarify the procedure for “To prevent data loss, disconnect iSCSI clients from StarWind nodes”
Please note that the whole sentence says, "To prevent data loss, disconnect iSCSI clients from StarWind nodes – for builds, where it is specified as a requirement in StarWind Release Notes;"
No need to disconnect iSCSI sessions, therefore; stopping StarWindService before the update should do it.
