"Create Partition Table" Grayed out...

Hello! Trying Starwind vSan out, it's a ovf on vmware. I added a 1TB drive, and am trying ot "create partition table" and "format" ... they're both grayed out. I've rebooted the appliance. No change!

Bonus question: is there a reason i can only add 1011GB of RAM to the OVF?

When logging in, check the checkbox for using credentials for priviliged tasks.

For RAM, I guess your question rather relates to VMware.
