I'm using SAN & NAS Free on VMware ESXi 7.0u3. I had to completely reinstall the appliance after deleting the primary vmdk by accident (it's a test server). On it I have 4 SATA hard disks configured as RDM.

After reinstalling SAN & NAS and skipping storage configurations, I clicked on "Rescan storage". All the 4 disks are detected and shows as "Ready".

However, the rest is empty. No way to reconnect or detect the old raidz array.

I tried by SSH to do a zpool import but nothing is detected.

Is there a way to reconnect the raid?

Hi,

We are going to test such a scenario internally. We will keep you posted.

Any news on it?

If you can explain how it is setup on the Linux side so it can be detected in StarWind SAN & NAS, I could be of help. I know a lot about zfs and mbr. But I don't know how the link is made between the two.
