Hi StarWind Staff!
According to your technical papers:
https://www.starwindsoftware.com/nvme-o ... me-cluster
and
https://www.starwindsoftware.com/resour ... ws-server/

I have following question:
Can I create clustered storage space on your nvme-of disks for redundancy? Did you make any tests?

Best regards,
Yury

Hi Yury,

HA is not available for NVMe-oF targwts. It is on the road map, stay tuned!

Dear Yaroslav,
In your second technical parer you say that it is possble to make nvme-of drive as a clustered shared volume.
Can I use that drive in clustered storage spaces for redundancy? It's standard Windows Server functionality.
For example, I have few nvme-of drives, then I will add those to clustered storage space and then to create mirror volume for CSV.
Did you test that scenario?
And second question:
You use Centos & SPDK as a nvme-of target. You use one NIC port to distribute a storage traffic.
Is it possible to use two NIC ports with two ip addresses for network redundancy?

With best regards,
Yury

You cannot create the HA mirror for StarWind NVMe-oF targets in the current version of the NVMe-oF Target. This feature is going to be introduced later.

Yes, you can but this scenario was not tested by us.

This was not also tested by us.
