Hello All!
I've created a 3TB StarWind HA storage and successfully map it as a disk.
When I try to create volume on that storage by running New-Volume cmdlet then I give unexpected error after a long time.
Do you have any restrictions etc. for volume sizes?

Best regards,
Yury

No, we do not have a limitation (we just recommend devices be below 7 TB to avoid full sync overlapping with backups or production workloads). The volume was created by StarWind VSAN. If you want to format it as NTFS, try diskpart as described here https://www.starwindsoftware.com/resour ... rver-2016/.

if I have a 15TB storage, do you recommend splitting it for multiple CSV? 7TB, 7TB, 1TB?

Thanks

7TB, 7TB, 1TB?
You should. That will help to make full synchronization of your data discrete. This, in turn, should save you from re-synchronizing the entire array once again if synchronization fails. Still, if you have a large VM there, there is no need to push it hard.
