I am testing with StarWind Virtual SAN (VSAN) & VSAN Free, setting up a 2-Node Compute and Storage Separated Scenario with Windows Hyper-V Server 2019.
I have a couple of questions:
1. After editing and running CreateHA_2.ps1, it appears that it is running in Asynchronous "One-Way" Replication mode; as there is a "Master" image and a "Partner" image. The target (enumDevicesTargets.ps1) appears to be pointing to only one node. Can VSAN Free run in Synchronous mode? Or is it restricted to Asynchronous?
2. Just to confirm, as I understand it, the Free license Key will give me 30 days to configure via GUI, then switch to Powershell only. If I puchase the full version, can I replace the key? Or will I have to reinstall?

Thank you.

Welcome to the Forum!

CreateHA creates the active-active mirror. There are device priorities though (more info here https://forums.starwindsoftware.com/vie ... ity#p32173).
VSAN free can run in synchronous mode. Use script here (https://forums.starwindsoftware.com/vie ... p+3#p31505).
Free license never expires, you can use GUI for monitoring only. The trial version expires in 30 days and you need either purchase a commercial license or reinstall the system and install StarWind VSAN again (you still can reuse the .cfg to save yourself time and effort).
