Hello,
I'm planning to create a simple cluster based on Hyper-V 2019 and StarWind VSAN Free software.
I have two bure-metal hosts with 4 disks on each (RAID1 on NVMe and second RAID1 on standard HDDs). There is no Windows domain on this environment, but Hyper-V 2019 already don't have that requirement to clustering as I know. I have the possibility to create a witness share drive from another location. There are two NICs on each host - one dedicated for synchro and second for management and Heartbeat. On Cluster will be only a few small VMs.
Is this setup will be correct to work with StarWInd VSAN or I forgot about something? I read about windows domain requirement in StarWind documentation but on this forum, someone wrote about WORKGROUP setup.
Best Regards,
Kris
