StarWind VSAN Free on Hyper-V (2 nodes) - currently no VMs running.
Took both of the machines down to move them into the rack. When I powered them on, StarWind Management Console says one of my nodes is syncing. Looks like a full sync as it's 4.5 hours for 10TB.
iscsicpl shows 'Reconnecting' to node 1 when checking from either node. Shows connected to node 2 on both nodes and each is connected to their local witness.
I tried to move a VM, but get 'Application failed to open remote file browser' when attempting to move to either node. If I go into C:\ClusterStorage\Volume1 I can create folders and see them on both nodes.

Is this expected behavior?

Thank you for your question. Yes, until full sync is over, there can be no iSCSI sessions established to StarWind targets. Only the synchronizer is available for iSCSI connections.
That is why the target hangs in "reconnecting" until sync is over.
If you plan to shut down both nodes at a time, consider enabling maintenance mode for StarWind HA devices https://www.starwindsoftware.com/help/M ... eMode.html. There will be no full sync after devices leave the Maintenance mode.
See this article to learn more about shutting down servers with StarWind VSAN installed https://knowledgebase.starwindsoftware. ... k%20online.
