Hello.

I'm evaluating the product, and have problem by adding a Whitness node.

I'v using the Starwind Virtual SAN for vSphere 2-node HCI Scenario with vSphere 6.5 and Linux virtual machine.

I'v managed to set up two Starwind virtual machines, added device and added a partner. Selected the "Node Majority" failover strategy.

Then, when I'm adding a Withness: "Right-click on the HA device with the configured Node Majority failover policy and select Replication Manager and press the Add Replica button"
The "Add replica button is grey"!!

My trial license is for two servers

Hello again.

I recived a new trial licence and the problem is solved.

It was restrictions in my first license - for only two hosts. So the withness also counts as a host.

Hello Vebjorn,
Yes, you need a different StarWind license for Node Majority configuration, for three nodes.
Thank you for the update.

Hey, can you please update the post and is it going good on your side? Cause I'm planning to get a trial too.

Are you planning to use node majority failover strategy?
