Can't add a device

I installed the latest Virtual SAN Free download to support my Tape drive (Tape Redirector function).
When I connect to the server the "Add Device" button is greyed out and I also get a nastygram saying "GUI management not allowed by license"????
Help!

That is correct. You can use GUI only for monitoring with the free license:

The older version worked fine and didn't disable the GUI - did I download the wrong thing? Or if not that how do I define my tape drive without using the GUI?

Yes, correct, Tape Redirector option should have GUI.

Very odd I! I uninistalled,, reinstalled, and reloaded the license. Now everyhing works as I expected!
