Unable to set CHAP permissions on replicated targets

Postby kkristian » Mon Mar 11, 2019 10:43 am

Dear all,

when trying to set CHAP permissions on replicated targets I get following error message:

Failed to remove permission from partners. Unable to retrieve partner information.

I can set the credentials before replication, but those are not replicated to partner.

regards,

Kristian

Hello Kristian,
Could you please clarify, did you configure CHAP permissions according to this article?

Hello Oleg,

I was trying to set individual target permission. When the target is single node, I can add permission without issue, when the target is replicated across 2 nodes I get the mentioned error message. I was configuring CHAP permissions exactly as in the article (Setting individual target permissions part). I'm running version 8.0.0.10799.
