Hi!

Is it safe to use "Delayed Ack = Off" with Starwind?

I need to disable it for another storage, but both share the iSCSI-software-initiator...

Thank you for your help!

Hi!
It is better to leave the default option.
You can disable one for the targets you are planning to use for another storage.

Hi Oleg,

thank you for your answer.
Its not possible to define "Delayed Ack" per volume, as I have to configure it for the whole initiator (and there is only one software-iscsi-initiator).
Does Starwind have any problems with Delayed-Ack=yes?

I can only use Starwind, if it does not interfer with the other storage.

Thank you

Hi,
You can configure Delayed Ack per target :)
Generally, it should work without issues. But it is better to double check before.
