Hello,
i am not sure , but as far as i understand the multi-path checkbox is refering to MCS ?
for MPIO ( which we want to use ) , this checkbox is not necessary
i tried without and HA and loopback was working fine
can someone confirm this ?

You need to enable this option for proper failover process.
